Often Overlooked Local Golf Course
I got to thinking about how little I hear about Maplewood Golf Course and I decided I needed to write a review because I just think it gets overlooked too often. I love to golf, but admit that it can be a bit of an expensive hobby. So if golfing on a budget is more in line with your golf game, than you need to give Maplewood a try. Is it the most difficult? No, not at all, so if favors high handicaps, but is still challenging enough that lower handicap golfers can go out and have a great time as well. They have a very nice double-deck driving range, and an experienced staff in the pro shop more than willing to help you and help make your golf experience better. The carts are well maintained and the course is always in pretty good shape, and has enough character that you don’t get bored with constantly repetitious holes. Capping off a round with friends (or your significant other) in their River Rock Grill is a great way to finish, also without completely breaking the bank.
